Cancellation policy

1. General Principles
At Malaga Signature Tours, we understand that travel plans may change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and aligned with the logistical commitments required for private guided experiences and advance ticket purchases.

Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of experience booked.

2. Private Walking Tours in Málaga
● Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund.
● Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
● No-shows are non-refundable.

Modifications may be possible subject to availability.

3. Day Trips from Málaga
Due to transportation arrangements, driver scheduling, and advance planning:
● Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund.
● Cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure are non-refundable.
● No-shows are non-refundable.

4. Monument & Ticketed Experiences
(e.g., Alhambra, Cathedral interiors, museums)

When tickets are purchased in advance on behalf of guests:
● Ticket costs are non-refundable, unless the monument’s official policy allows otherwise.
● If cancellation occurs within the refundable period for guiding services, only the ticket portion may be retained.
● Ticket availability cannot be guaranteed until official confirmation is received.

Certain monuments (such as the Alhambra) operate under strict identification policies. Guests are responsible for providing accurate personal information when required.

5. Custom or Multi-Day Itineraries
For tailored multi-day experiences or complex arrangements involving multiple providers:
● Specific cancellation terms will be detailed in the written proposal.
● Deposits may be required and may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on third-party commitments.

6. Delays & Late Arrival
If guests arrive late to the agreed meeting point:
● The duration of the experience may be reduced accordingly.
● No refunds will be issued for time lost due to late arrival.

7. Force Majeure
Malaga Signature Tours shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
● Severe weather conditions
● Government restrictions
● Monument closures
● Transportation disruptions
● Strikes or public safety concerns

In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer alternatives where possible.

8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Please allow 7–10 business days for processing, depending on your financial institution.

Transaction fees imposed by payment processors may not be refundable where applicable.

9. Changes Initiated by Malaga Signature Tours
In the unlikely event that we must cancel or significantly modify an experience due to unforeseen circumstances:
● Guests will be offered a full refund or alternative arrangement.
● No additional compensation shall be owed beyond the amount paid.

10. Acceptance of Policy
By confirming a booking with Malaga Signature Tours, guests acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this Cancellation Policy.
